Serves
the Gulf Coast, offshore and the deepwater Gulf of America
On the ground
Headquarters for Gulf Coast and offshore work
The shop and the yard sit together at headquarters. Land jobs along the Gulf Coast and offshore work in the Gulf of America both go out through Broussard. When you are not sure which of our yards should take a job, start here and dispatch will route it to the closest one.
Sour wells offshore
Sour service offshore is one of our specialties. Gas detection, alarms, SCBA and supplied air go out as one package, and an H2S technician can work the hitch alongside them.
Made ready before it leaves
Equipment is inspected, function tested and set up for your operation before it leaves the yard. The program behind that is our own GEAUX TIGER SAFETY 6S.
Fall protection, recertified
We inspect and recertify fall protection, including the harnesses and lifelines your crew already owns.
What we rent
Onshore and offshore rentals through Broussard
Offshore, deck space is tight and everything comes aboard by crane, so what we send to platforms, rigs and vessels in the Gulf of America is built for it. Our pressure washers run from hot and cold diesel units to ultra-high-pressure skids for wash downs and vessel maintenance. Skid-mounted vacuums deliver strong suction without the cost and footprint of a vacuum truck, screen cleaners in pneumatic and explosion-proof electric models extend shaker screen life, and mobile steam generators handle de-gassing, vessel cleaning and thawing.
Onshore, turnaround work at a Gulf Coast plant means moving air through vessels and getting people in and out of them safely. Explosion-proof blowers and ducting from our ventilation fleet clear vapors and heat. Hydroblasters and pumps from pressure and steam solutions take care of the cleaning, while tripods, man-rated winches and harnesses from confined space and rescue cover each entry.
Wherever the hazard is gas, on land or on a hitch, SCBA and gas detection travel with the job. Intrinsically safe radios and thermal cameras from cameras and communication work in Class I, Division 1 and 2 areas.

Who we support
Five industries, onshore and offshore
South Louisiana’s refineries and petrochemical plants run on turnaround schedules, and a turnaround crams vessel entry, hot work and a crowd of contractors into a few weeks. Turnaround safety advisors plan that work before it starts, and fire watch and confined space attendants cover it shift by shift. Our oil and gas support reaches from those plants out to the platforms offshore. Power generation outages call for much the same: ventilation, breathing air and gas monitoring, with an advisor running the safety side.
Hurricane season adds a different kind of job. When a storm knocks out lift stations and substations, the utility contractors restoring them need entry gear, retrieval, attendants and lighting for night work. Industrial construction across Acadiana brings trench and excavation entry, fall protection and hot work fire watch, and a data center build needs permit control and construction-scale lighting all the way to fit-out. Call us about the safety side of any of them.

Who we send
Safety personnel for plants, turnarounds and offshore hitches
Book people with the equipment or on their own. Safety technicians are our field personnel for H2S and air-assist work, onshore or on an offshore hitch, and safety professionals are the consultants who run a site's safety program. A plant turnaround can add fire watch, confined space attendants, permit-to-work coordinators and turnaround safety advisors to the same order.
