Industries we serve

Oilfield Safety Equipment and Personnel

A wellsite or a platform puts a crew around sour gas, pressure and permit spaces at the same time. For oilfield work we focus on the Permian Basin, the Haynesville and Eagle Ford Shales and the Gulf of America, and we bid project work wherever it is. Equipment and people come from the same call.

What we bring

One call covers the spread and the crew

Most jobs need more than one of these at once. Ordering them together is the point.

Well testing and production

Flowback, testing and production equipment

Three-phase and four-phase separators, sand traps and sand knockouts, flow iron, flare trailers and monorail trailers, specified per job and rented without operators.

H2S and gas detection

Sour service, covered

Personal and area multi-gas monitors for H2S, O2, CO and LEL, wired and wireless alarm networks, SCBA in 30 and 60 minute configurations, supplied air and cascade systems.

Confined space and rescue

Entry, retrieval and fall protection

Blowers and ducting, harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, man-rated winches, tripods, Sked stretchers and rescue lifelines.

Site infrastructure

Light, eyes and comms

Class I Division 1 and 2 rated LED lighting, intrinsically safe two-way radios, inspection and thermal cameras, and safety trailers for shower and eyewash, breathing air, H2S command and cool down.

Safety personnel

People who run the program

H2S technicians, confined space attendants, fire watch, permit-to-work coordinators, turnaround advisors and site safety professionals.

The problems we solve

What operators call us for

Most calls start with one of these. The answer is usually equipment and people together.

Sour service

Gas that kills before it warns

Hydrogen sulfide is heavy, it pools, and the sense of smell fails at exactly the concentration that matters. A crew without detection and air has no margin.

Our answer

Multi-gas monitoring across the location, wired or wireless alarms at the perimeter, cascade air staged for the whole crew, and a certified H2S technician running the plan.

Flowback and drill-out

Solids headed for your equipment

Initial flowback and drill-outs push sand and debris straight at pumps, lines and instruments. One slug can take out a meter run.

Our answer

Cyclonic and gravity sand traps staged ahead of the separation train, so solids come out before they cost you equipment.

Vessel and tank entry

A permit space with nobody running it

Entry without air movement, retrieval and a trained attendant is a violation and a rescue waiting to happen.

Our answer

High-CFM blowers sized to the vessel, winches and tripods rigged for vertical retrieval, and attendants who hold the permit and the log.

Night work in a classified area

Light that cannot go where the work is

Standard fixtures are not rated for a location where flammable gas may be present, and a cord run is only as safe as its weakest link.

Our answer

Explosion-proof LED lighting certified for Class I Division 1 and 2, tank lights sized for internal work, and NEMA-rated cords and splitters for the whole run.

Why Tiger

More than a rental yard.

Every unit leaves the yard inspected, cleaned and configured for your operation.

Field-ready equipment.

Separators, sand traps, flare stacks and trailers are inspected, function tested and configured for your operation before they leave the yard, and every unit is pressure tested before every rental.

Equipment and people from one call.

Safety technicians, fire watch and air-assist personnel schedule alongside the rental, so the spread and the crew arrive together.

Rental only on well testing, by design.

We rent well testing equipment and your crew runs it. We do not supply operators, so we never compete with the companies we equip.

GEAUX TIGER SAFETY 6S.

Our own program, which is why the gear that reaches you is cleaner, safer and better organized than a yard average.

Frequently asked questions

Where does Tiger focus in oil and gas?

The Permian Basin, the Haynesville and Eagle Ford Shales, and the Gulf of America, onshore and offshore. We bid project work outside those areas as well.

Does Tiger supply operators with well testing equipment?

No. Well testing is rental only and your own crew runs the spread. Our well testing customers are well testing companies, so supplying operators would put us in competition with them. Safety personnel are a separate service and can go on any job.

Can Tiger cover both the detection and the breathing air on a sour job?

Yes. Personal and area monitors, wired or wireless alarm systems, SCBA, supplied air and cascade bottles all come from the same fleet, and a certified H2S technician can run the program on site.

Does Tiger service and calibrate gas detection?

We can service and repair most gas detection, and we are an authorized MSA Safety dealer. The fleet also includes Otis, Redline, BW and Dräger instruments.
