Industries we serve

Safety Equipment and Personnel for Construction

A large construction project stacks its hazards: work at height, permit spaces, hot work, and several trades working on top of each other. We rent the equipment those hazards call for and we can staff the program that governs them.

What we bring

Equipment sized to the hazard, not to the catalog

These are the parts of our fleet that apply to construction work.

Work at height

Fall protection and retrieval

Full-body multi-point harnesses, shock-absorbing lanyards, leading-edge self-retracting lifelines from 8 to 130 feet, certified anchor points and rigging hardware. Every unit is inspected before it leaves the yard, and we inspect and recertify fall protection gear, including your own.

Permit spaces

Entry, air movement and rescue

Portable electric and pneumatic blowers with flame-resistant ducting, man-rated winches on tripods, Sked stretchers and rescue lifelines. Blower motors are available Class I Division 1 or 2.

Atmosphere

Gas detection before anyone goes in

Personal and area multi-gas monitors covering O2, CO, LEL and H2S, plus wired and wireless alarm networks for area and perimeter monitoring.

Visibility

Lighting for shifts and for tight spaces

LED brick lights for large-area illumination, low-profile tank lights for restricted spaces, explosion-proof fixtures where the classification calls for them, and NEMA-rated cords and splitters.

Coordination

Radios and eyes on the work

Two-way Hytera radios that run on their own frequencies, inspection cameras for ducts and voids, and thermal cameras for electrical hotspots and hidden moisture.

Welfare and response

Trailers that stand up on day one

Emergency shower and eyewash trailers meeting ANSI Z358.1 with tempered water, cool down trailers, breathing air trailers, and mobile office trailers with Starlink connectivity.

The problems we solve

What a construction site needs from us

These are the gaps that show up on a construction site, and what closes them.

Hot work

A fire watch that is really just somebody standing there

Welding, cutting and grinding need a watch with the right extinguishing gear, the authority to stop work, and a record of the post-work period.

Our answer

Certified fire watch attendants with the monitoring gear and the suppression equipment the permit requires, on station for the whole watch.

Permit spaces

Tanks, vaults, pits and trenches nobody has tested

A space that traps heat, fumes or gas is a permit space whether or not it is on the drawing, and a trench or excavation carries the same hazards at grade.

Our answer

Multi-gas monitors, blowers sized to the opening, retrieval rigged before entry, and an attendant who holds the permit and the log.

Trade stacking

Three crews, one hazard, no single point of control

When several contractors work the same area, permits issued in parallel stop describing the real conditions.

Our answer

A permit-to-work coordinator as one point of control, issuing, verifying and closing every high-risk permit.

Temporary power and light

A second shift with nowhere to plug in safely

Site lighting gets improvised, and an improvised cord run is where a classified area becomes a problem.

Our answer

Portable LED lighting matched to the location’s rating, with cords, splitters and accessories rated for the whole run.

Why Tiger

Built for jobs that are not simple

The fleet was assembled for hazardous, high-consequence work. That is what it brings to a construction site.

Hazard-rated, not just rented.

Blowers, lighting and radios come in versions rated for classified locations, so the specification can be met rather than argued about.

Equipment and people together.

Attendants, fire watch and safety professionals schedule alongside the rental, so the program and the gear arrive as one order.

24/7 dispatch.

Call dispatch with the location and the timeline and we will confirm a delivery window for your job.

GEAUX TIGER SAFETY 6S.

Our own program, which is why the gear that reaches you is cleaner, safer and better organized than a yard average.

Safety & QHSE

The Tiger Safety & Reliability Difference

Our GEAUX TIGER SAFETY 6S Program

From the shop floor to your jobsite, our 6S process (Sort, Set-In-Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) ensures equipment is ready, organized, and safe. It reduces downtime, non-productive time (NPT), and HSE risk, and keeps your project on track.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

We do not just rent gear to companies. Tiger field crews help you maximize uptime and data quality on every job.

Fast, Transparent Communication

From quote to logistics to on-site handover, our team provides unfiltered, timely updates, so you always know where your equipment stands.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tiger rent fall protection to construction contractors?

Yes. Harnesses, shock-absorbing lanyards and self-retracting lifelines from 8 to 130 feet, including leading-edge units, along with anchorage hardware. Every unit is inspected before it leaves the yard. We also inspect and recertify fall protection, including gear you already own.

Can Tiger supply a fire watch for hot work?

Yes. Confined space and fire watch attendants are one of our personnel services, and they come with the gas monitoring and fire extinguishing equipment the permit calls for.

Will Tiger work outside the Gulf Coast on a construction project?

Yes, for project based work. Large construction jobs travel well because the scope and the duration are known in advance and the equipment ships as a package.

Is the lighting rated for classified areas?

We carry explosion-proof LED lighting certified for Class I Division 1 and 2 locations, along with standard portable LED lighting for unclassified areas. Tell us the classification and we will match the fixture to it.
